Social Media Campaign

PROJECT: “Summertime & Lemonade” | Social Media Video
STAKEHOLDERS: Waffle House | Coca-Cola/Minute Maid

BRIEF: Write a “song-of-summer” and create a funny music video for a social media campaign about the new Minute Maid Lemonade launch at Waffle House. 
MY ROLE: Wrote the lyrics, treatment, script, and shot list. Produced, directed, edited, and starred. Assisted in music production.

SUMMARY: Leading a team of 14 contractors, from sound engineers to a Steadicam operator, I couldn’t have asked for a more talented, enjoyable crew to work with. I came into the studio with sound samples to create unique sounds from scratch. We wanted to create something people would actually listen to for fun. We cut costs by 50% of previous outsourced videos prior to me taking over video production. This resulted in a significant increase for in-house video budgets, including the purchase of new equipment. I’ve grown a great deal as a director since this time, but I’ll always be fond of this video for the shear fun we had in making it.
